Our vision is

"Sharing the love of God in Jesus Christ through our church and community"

Our Mission:

We seek to:

  • Serve Jesus Christ in our lives and share this love and saving grace with each other, our friends and neighbours.

  • Joyfully worship God as we warmly welcome anyone seeking to share in our family/children-friendly worship.

  • Care for each other and the community; transforming lives spiritually, emotionally and practically.

  • Assist in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus around the world.

We seek to serve Jesus Christ in our lives, share his love and saving grace with each other, our friends and our neighbours...

  • We seek to build and share our Christian journey through prayer for each other, our friends and upon request in occasional and regular groups.

  • We seek to learn more about Christian living in our community through Bible study in small groups and family support groups.

  • We look to sharing the Bible and Christian ethical living in our community through:

    • The Christian Religious Education (CRE) program for primary schools

    • After school programs

    • School Holiday Programs

    • Other programs when/as we are able

We seek to joyfully worship God as we warmly welcome anyone seeking to share in our family/children-friendly worship.

In our worship, we seek to offer and embrace:

  • a warm welcome to all ages

  • a wide range of styles, including music

  • value highly all children for their presence and contribution to worship

  • clear and Biblically challenging teaching

Care for each other and the community; transforming lives spiritually, emotionally and practically.

Flowing out of the example of Christ's love in our loves, we seek to share such love by serving our community in practical ways; in the offering of programs in response to the needs and demographic of our neighbourhood:

  • Facilitating Playgroup (see the Playgroup page)

  • Contribute to Community events (such as the Whittlesea Show and Laurimar Primary School Carols night)

  • be present at Community events (such as Easter Fun Days)

  • Assist in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus around the world.

We seek to:

  • understand God's heart for all people

  • encourage our people to appreciate the importance of global and cross-cultural mission

  • regularly included in worship, mission speakers and receive updates on "ourî missionaries.

  • incorporate financial support for the church's selected missionaries/missions, into the church budget.

  • encourage people to give to selected/seasonal (such as Christmas, Easter) missions and other causes.
